Blue Star Ferry to Athens. Left Mykonos at 2:15 PM.
It was a nice 6-hour cruise. Sat on upper deck, plenty of pleasant wind and sun, beautiful sea and
islands. After 2 Ouzo and beer, nap and saw sunset together. Even Ed, who
was traumatized from a series of bad luck in Santorini, loved it!!
Arrived Athens port. Taxi to Central Athens Hotel (about 20€ including
tip, about 30 min. ride). Checked-in. Walked around Plaka where the hotel is located. Saw lighted up
Acropolis.
Greek music on street. Dinner at Bairaktaris tavern on a very busy
street right off from the Monastiraki Square.
More cats. Strolled back to
hotel.
