P. Harting Triunuial Magic Lantern, 1877.

Optical projection device that pre-dates the development of the motion picture projector by several hundred years. It shows audiences with images projected from painted glass slides, shown in progression to tell a story.

Valencia Movie Palace in Jamaica, Queens

Entrance gallery of Valencia Movie Palace. It opened in 1929 and now used as a gospel-type church.  Couldn't go inside of the theater because of Sunday service. Hopefully coming back soon for more photos!!
